VICTORIA is a professional actor and teaching artist who has lived in the D.C. area for a decade. While pursuing two master’s degrees in Shakespeare, Victoria visited D.C. regularly and fell in love with the city’s cultural amenities, including its vibrant theatre scene. Shortly after moving here, she co-founded Brave Spirits Theatre, now based in Alexandria, VA, with a fellow Washington Walks guide. In her various capacities as an actor, teaching artist, and tour guide, Victoria feels lucky to be able to share her love of Shakespeare, performance, history, and oratory with students, teachers, and visitors from all over the country.

Where would you take an out-of-town visitor and why? "I'm a total house museum junkie and my favorite is the Anderson House. It's a fabulous Gilded Age mansion with an eclectic art and artifact collection curated by the original owners but it also serves as the headquarters of the nation's first patriotic organization, the Society of the Cincinnati. Visitors can take advantage of free tours, concerts, and lunchtime lectures in addition to paid activities like holiday events and Revolutionary War-era food and drink tastings."

"Victoria is a fantastic guide and very gifted story teller." - Goldstar reviewer
