David Luria and Christina Bauer

It’s time to gauge your sculpture savvy quotient!  David Luria, founder of Washington Photo Safari, D.C.’s original photography tour, challenges Washington Walks Webinar Wednesdays participants to identify famous and not-so-famous statues and sculptures erected throughout the nation’s capital—by viewing an image of the figure’s hands only.  Fear not if you are flummoxed.  Washington Walks guide Christina Bauer will be on hand (pun intended) to solve these forelimb puzzlers and reveal the backstory of how the sculptures came to be.  David will share tips about how to best photograph Washington’s iconic sites, a skill he has been teaching thousands of Photo Safari guests for two decades.

Host: Carolyn Crouch, Founder, Washington Walks
