When

The Washington Walks season of regularly-scheduled public walking tours kicks off April 1 and concludes the Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend.  Private and group tours are available year round.

 

Duration

Each walk lasts approximately 2 hours unless noted.

 

Reservations

No reservations necessary unless noted. Simply show up!

 

Cost

$20 per person (kids 3 and younger free). $5 discount with U.S. military or federal government ID.

Pay the walk fee in cash or with a credit card when you arrive or click the Book Now button on the individual walk page to pay with a credit card immediately. 

 

Where

Most walks embark from outside a Metrorail station.

 

Who

Your guide will be wearing a Washington Walks badge.

 

Weather

Walks are given rain or shine.

 

Gratuity

Washington Walks guides are permitted to accept gratuities.

 

Gift Certificates

Give the gift of a Washington Walks walking tour to your friends or family.
