"Since COVID, they've done a fine job with virtual experiences on a variety of topics that differ from their standard tours. We've been to a few Saturday talks/virtual walks focused on DC architects or historical figures. As DC locals interested in history, we find them filled with fascinating into [sic] and great photos you can view up close. The live Zoom talk still feels very personal and for a small group. In-person walking tour: $25 per person
Virtual experience: $10 per household
Washington Walks in-person walking tours take place throughout the city. Check individual walk pages for meeting point details. The majority of our walking tours embark from outside a Metrorail station.
Washington Walks walking tours are led by our crew of expert, entertaining tour guides. Virtual Experiences are hosted by founder Carolyn Crouch who is joined by local historians, experts, and Washington Walks guides.
